The development includes 15 new dwellings to provide affordable housing to the local community. Working with Stanton Dahl Architects , the end result compliments the existing streetscape well.

Affordable Housing, New Lambton NSW

The project consisted of the Design and construction of 12 affordable age care homes (Units 1-7 & 8-12), a communal BBQ area and 10 space car park. All the units were constructed from prefabricated timber frames and had a proprietary aluminium external cladding. The internal fit out for each of the single bedroom units comprised of individual kitchens with vinyl floors, carpet to the bedrooms and air conditioning to each living area. Each unit also features its own individual court yard with privacy screens and landscaped gardens. The communal area heralds large pergola with an electric BBQ. Further to this, there is also a community garden and landscaped areas throughout.

CBCS Cherrybrook Aged Care, Cherrybrook NSW

ReitsmaRFM was excited to be able to handover the newly refurbished Yurana wing for Christian Brethren community services in Cherrybrook. Working with NBRS architecture the team were able to deliver the 9 new high care rooms, 5 consult rooms and common areas also including a new lift shaft and lift for greater access to all areas of the site. These works were undertaken in between the 2 existing occupied wings, which meant that the constant co-ordination of works with the client was of the greatest importance. With Residents moving in last week, we are sure the improved facilities will make for a great addition to the services that CBCS are able to provide to the greater community.

Pacific Lodge Aged Care Plus Centre, Collaroy NSW

Reitsma undertook this Design and Construct project to construct the Pacific Lodge Aged Care Plus Centre within the existing Salvation Army ‘Collaroy Centre’. The residential aged care centre known as Elizabeth Jenkins Place was linked into the new Pacific Lodge building via an elevated walkway. The new Centre consists of fifty private rooms with modern en suites, free-flowing communal areas, such as sun rooms, lounge rooms and television rooms. Works also included basement car parking for 32 vehicles along with various services upgrades to the site.

Indo-Chinese Elderly Hostel, Bonnyrigg NSW

In cooperation with Figgis+Jefferson and TEPA Architects, Reitsma completed this aged care facility project at Bonnyrigg. Refurbishment of the elderly hostel involved providing a new building structure and reception area to link the two existing buildings. The project included construction of a new car-park, covered walkway and the refurbishment of the existing administration areas. Reitsma also provided new sprinklers throughout the existing buildings to ensure compliance with new fire regulations.

Buckland Retirement Village: Lyndhurst Village, Springwood NSW

Reitsma completed construction of 41 Self Care dwellings, including roadworks and drainage in an environmentally sensitive bushland setting in the Blue Mountains, NSW. The project was carried out over two stages using a Cost/Management contract incorporating savings provisions. The contract was completed on time and on budget resulting in cost savings to a very happy client.
