Reitsma Constructions Pty Ltd has been building commercial and residential works for over forty years in the wider Sydney Metropolitan area.
Reitsma was founded in 1973 by Dirk Reitsma. Reitsma Constructions was set up to focus on small commercial and community style projects. Reitsma Constructions concentrated on the building of churches, schools, community buildings, and small commercial and retail developments. Management and administrative functions operated in Carlingford for some fourteen years before the company relocated in 1991, to premises in Baulkham Hills. The company's activities expanded to include extensions and renovations of School and Church buildings, Nursing Homes and Self Care Units, Commercial and Retail including a significant activity in the Automotive retailing and service sector, as well as Industrial buildings. In the early 2000's, Wes Hart and Pieter van Zwieten started working as employees at the Reitsma Constructions head office. Through a period of years both were offered share holdings in the company and since then have taken over as the directors and owners of the company. These moves confirm that the company’s attitude of constantly seeking to maintain its high level of service to existing and future clients, as well as giving the young, enthusiastic and involved management team, confidence in its future.
In 2009, Reitsma Constructions moved it’s corporate head office into a new, modern and spacious premises in Seven Hills. Reitsma Constructions has experienced stable and steady growth over a number of years to a company size of nearly 50 employees with a significant annual turnover.
