The project took place over 3 levels consisting of the installation of a commercial kitchen and teaching space on the first floor, a complete cafe and bathroom fit-out on the ground floor and the refurbishment of the basement level including the installation of a new cool room.

In addition, the building required substantial upgrade works to be carried out in order to comply with current NCC requirements including the installation of additional fire safety and access measures.

The end result is the creation of a social enterprise with the aim of returning hope to the lives of unemployed young people by supporting them into paid hospitality traineeships.
