Together with Stanton Dahl Architects, Reitsma completed this new three-storey educational complex in Parramatta. The project was situated opposite Pirtek Stadium, which is within an operational school. The building was designed to be flexible, allowing the spaces to be used in numerous ways for sports and community gatherings. In response to space constraints, the roof top is a traffic-able playspace, suitable for a wide range of sports. The construction process was challenging, with the project built almost to the boundary on two street frontages. The internal access road through the school was shared between Reitsma and the staff/students. The building contains various forms and finishes including a large portion of off form concrete, pre-cast concrete, timber panelling and corten steel.
