Church by the Bridge is listed as having local heritage status. The works comprised new finishes and restoration of existing finishes throughout the church, and included the replacement of some timber floor areas as well as additional structural supports in specific locations. All of the work needed to be carried out with appropriate attention given to quality of workmanship and selection of authentic materials, as well as adherence to the integrity of existing designs and finishes.
