Reitsma worked alongside with Foran Design Architects and Sydney Markets for the brand new Markets Office Central at Sydney Markets. The “new state of the art facility” is a great example of continued efforts by Sydney Markets to improve communication excellence with its stakeholders. The Market Office Central building has been described as a modern, efficient and technological advanced hub available to all stakeholders and visitors to Sydney Markets Homebush. The two storey multipurpose building is located on Centre Rd and is visibly striking with a corroded textured Corten panelled façade. From the outside the building’s materials enhance the industrial looking nature, making it blend in with its surrounding industrial warehouse structures. The interior is furnished with modern mod cons with its first floor offering space for some 30 people to hold meetings and undertake workshops.
