Working with The Salvation Army, Donald Cant Watts Corke and Studio 23 Design, Reitsma has recently completed the refurbishment of the whole building at the Parramatta Corps. Situated on Church Street in north Parramatta, It involved demolition and reconfiguration of the first floor to construct a new 250 seat worship hall, new administration spaces, new cafe, commercial kitchen and indoor/outdoor children play areas. The building includes various architectural features including new skylights and cross on the roof, acoustic ceilings, unique carpet patterning and new glazing to the existing window and roof which provides plenty of natural light in the lobby that the church and community will enjoy for years to come. Well done to the project team on completing this great church project.
